Oil and Gas Coatings for High-Stress Environments

Armoloy oil and gas coatings are ideal for components operating in corrosive downhole environments. Their high corrosion and wear resistance reduces the frequency of costly repairs and lowers the risk of catastrophic metal failure. Armoloy coatings can be stripped from the substrate material and recoated almost indefinitely, helping to avoid expensive component replacement.
Worn components that have experienced material loss or deformation can also be coated to extend useful product life. Highly chemically resistant, Armoloy TDC® and XADC® resist most chemicals except sulfuric and hydrochloric acid.

In addition to protecting from corrosion and wear, the unique surface properties of Armoloy coatings can also improve media flow rates due to reduced friction. Our customers in the field have realized flow improvements of up to 10%.

Oil and Gas Coatings & Surface Treatments

Ideally suited for oil and gas drilling and extraction components, Armoloy coatings’ high corrosion and wear resistance enable longer equipment run times and fewer expensive repairs, resulting in decreased downtime.
