What is Thin Dense Chrome?
Armoloy Corporation is the premier name in Thin Dense Chrome (TDC) coating. Armoloy TDC, as developed by Bill Nichols in 1957, is a low-temperature, multi-state surface finishing process.
It utilizes proprietary chemical solutions and application processes to produce a silver satin matte chromium coating. When paired with precise deposits to part contours and avoid edge build, Armoloy ensures greater longevity for metal surfaces by improving lubricity and reducing wear and corrosion.
